A great little poem has been doing the rounds on Facebook recently. It is called Give a Boo by Joshua Seigal. I asked him for permission to put some music to it and here is the result.  You should REALLY check out Joshua's website for more poetry. He is quite the wordsmith. His poetry for youngsters is poignant, imaginative and funny.

For the boozing and the cheating, give a boo. 

For the braying and the bleating, give a boo. 

For the families not eating 

in the bedsits with no heating; 

for the sacked-off COBRA meeting, give a boo. 

For the chancer on the make, give a boo. 

For the cronies on the take, give a boo. 

For humility that’s fake; 

for the fat, priapic rake 

with the morals of a snake, give a boo. 

For Churchillian delusion, give a boo. 

For the Latinate effusion, give a boo. 

For the perilous profusion 

of collusion and confusion; 

there can be just one conclusion: give a boo. 

For the bodies piled high, give a boo. 

For the crooked Eton tie, give a boo. 

For the bluster and the lie 

let’s give him his last goodbye 

while we howl to the sky 

with a BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
